The 640 was acquired as an almost complete restoration.  I'd been looking for a clean 600 when my friend, Ron Kingland, called to tell me he had one that was just about complete, except for the sheet metal.  Since I knew it would be in excellent mechanical condition, I bought it from him and finished it by painting the sheet metal and applying the decals.  It has become our primary mower tractor on the farm.
